I am not claiming to be an expert on either photography or travel advice; hence what I write is based on my personal experience.
My favourite part of travelling apart from seeing iconic places is meeting new people. Travel has given me an opportunity to see the world from the way the locals do and this gives me unique memories that I will cherish forever.

I am on a journey of finding my own path as those who have walked before us, those who seek love, adventures and lessons from the world beyond the artificially made borders limiting human’s ability to move beyond those imaginary lines. I seek to understand the world around us through my travel. In the golden age of travel, I want to find my own journey, to walk where the great souls may have walked, to find my own Jerusalem.

What’s in a name?
Qalavant is a portmanteau of the Arabic word قلب Qalb meaning heart and the English word Galavant. Qalavant therefore means to travel with a heart.
My aim is to provide travel hacks, tips and inspirations; and to share with you how travelling with an open heart can lead to beautiful experience and memories. I will do this through my blog posts, photos and collaborative projects.
